“I hope to stay for as long as I can keep running. I could not face leaving the fans. They are like my family.
"My team showed me I didn’t have to leave. They showed me they had heart.
“Everything was up in the air for a very long time. But at the end of the day, the team raised their game.
“Don’t get me wrong. I love Barcelona.
“But on Wednesday night, Arsenal showed me they had heart.
“After we lost on Wednesday, I went over to our fans and clapped them and they clapped me.
“I hope to finalise all the details today.”
From a post on the England fans forum. If he is staying great news, one of the best players in the world IMO
Well, it's a wise decision, because moving to Barca is no guarentee for succes, especially since Ten Cate (assistent coach who is more important then they might let you think) is moving to Ajax.
I hope Arsenal will again reach the final, this time with a good referee, and that Wenger and his team are confident enough of their own attacking qualities to not go on the defensive again. Plus I'd like some Arsenal players, most notably Reyes, to stop their diving antics.
I believe Henry made some comments about diving Barca players, but it would be wise of him to also tell his teammates about how he feels about that crap.
I was there, the big BNB blackout of november, 2008. We lost many that day...
