JSA: R2FR vs R2Scandinavia vs R3Thai vs R2DE vs R3K

I'd say the French one is the sharpest of all of them. The Korean disc is the most colourful.

Hasn't Park Chan-wook always participated and authored the DVD productions of his films? I'm sure that's the way he wanted JSA to be released and not the way the Frenchies have messed it up.

Indeed, just like Musa the CJ Entertainment disc is probably how Park wanted his movie to look (still... too much contrast boosting and too dark IMO).
The PA / CTV discs look better but unnatural.

Still... the korean disc is also censored.

In my very humble opinion:
1. R2FR CTV (Uncensored / Sharp).
2. R3Thai (Uncensored / Blurry).

3. CJ Entertainment (Censored / Soft).
4. Scandinavian (Censored / Dark / Soft).
5. R2DE (Uncensored / Unacceptable PQ).

OMG what went wrong with the German DVD? They took the time to Remaster it and consider this an improvement???

I've seen bootlegs better quality than that pile of shit.

IMO:

1. R2FR CTV (Uncensored / Sharp) - It's not often the Frenchie gets beaten
2. Scandinavian (Censored / Dark / Soft).
3. CJ Entertainment (Censored / Soft).
4. R3Thai (Uncensored / Blurry).
5. R2DE (Uncensored / Unacceptable PQ).

The censorship is so minor I'm not considering it. The Scandinavian is better than the CJ Entertainment to my eyes, the CJE isn't as dark BUT the colours are far to saturated.

So whose going to add the HK R3?
