S9 still had some good episodes from what I remember, including the New York v Homer Simpson one.

Yeah, I agree, I also like the one where they go on the Japanese game show, and that one might be as late as S10. But still, pretty much 1999 onwards marks the point where The Simpsons turned to shit.

Oh yeah, that episode was classic. Mr Sulu (George Takei) was the game show host.
