I see that this shop is affiliated with DVD Times, and I am wondering if it is safe from customs for R1 box sets, because it says it's UK based. But then I read they send them from Jersey, so does anyone know if there would be a customs charge for box sets and stuff?
Cheers

What is so special about Jersey and why do they offer so many bargains from that location?
EDIT:
EDIT:
Ahhh, no sales tax.The absence of VAT has led to the recent growth of the 'fulfilment' industry, whereby low-value luxury items, such as videos, lingerie and contact lenses are exported to the UK, avoiding VAT on arrival and thus undercutting UK prices on the same products. The States of Jersey announced in 2005 limits on licences granted to non-resident companies trading in this way.

loaded 247 are customs safe but in my experience not always reliable. for example last year i pre-ordered the batman anthology as they had the best price, however they couldn't get stock so after a month of waiting cancelled and asked for a refund which was a right pain, got it in the end though. before that i'd had one or two orders which went ok.they used to be called future entertainment & they charge on order, not on despatch.

Yeah it's one of those weird laws that lets Jersey get out of paying any tax. I've no idea why they don't have to add tax though. I think they bump the prices when actually in Jersey. I've not heard of Jersey itself being any cheaper than the rest of the UK.
I've found them to be fairly reliable but have had problems too. They're reliable enough (like Benson's World) to use them though.
