When was that voucher code active? A few days ago/weeks ago?

What forums are you getting these from? I'd like to have a gander myself.

Can anyone get Romero's new £2 voucher link to work properly?

It takes off £2 from the initial titles that are loaded up fine (e.g - Memoirs of a Geisha) but any title you search for or click through from another page is only knocked down by 50p. I'll use the combo for now.

It's definitely fudged for me. That's the same link you posted earlier.

To confirm you're saying you click on the link, search for a title and the title is still reduced by £2? Can you try and do this but search for Katie Melua.

Does her "Piece by Piece" album come up as £6.75 (as it should) or £8.25 like it does for me?

I'll leave it on the e-tailors thread just in case it works for others.

Yeah I got an e-mail about it too but put it down to tosh when we can get £2 off anyway.

It only seemed worth it if you manage to guess the correct score; for me in particular that's never going to happen.

why not-call every game 1-1 and that's going to be the correct score in a few games at least. 8)

You used the link and voucher! crikey risky, I didnt risk combining it with anything else so only go £3 off really :( got Final Fantasy IX film for 5.99, could have got it for 3.99 I guess, but not worth the risk for me :)

Agreed. Normally it's worth the risk as you can just reorder with another voucher but when these vouchers you can only get once it's not worth it.

Salty please post what happens.

£5 is better than £2 that's how I look at it.

It's working for me now too.

Weird as it definitely wasn't yesterday BUT it doesn't work with CDs. I've tested it on DVDs and Games, and these discount by £2 but CDs you will see only discount by 50p. In fact it only seems to work with DVDs and Games.

could've done with it yesterday when buying a DVD but will try again next time to get £3 off (£2 link + £1 code). Romero have you actually tried?

So £3/£2 for DVDs and £2 for CDs!

I'm still not taking the chance of losing the £5 voucher even though it worked for Sam. £7 off is kinda greedy to be honest.

They buy bulk dvds cheap somewhere :) ussually russia and other european places where dvds aint exactly perfect like other main regions, you can barley spot the difference on most Region 2 dvds, but the packaging ussually gives them away. They probibly pay pennies for some of them.

True Romero but only if you actually opt for the Russian DVD if you don't then you get the UK DVD which will cost them more. They make a profit by the sheer number of DVDs they sell. These vouchers mean a lot more people buy the DVDs.
Markgway wrote:I'm still not taking the chance of losing the £5 voucher even though it worked for Sam.
I wouldn't risk it either you only get one £5 voucher BUT it bodes very well for getting £3 off generally speaking (£1 code + £2 link).

I'm going to try next time, pity you the new code doesn't work with CDs otherwise I would've tried it yesterday.

Remember guys a few months back they let two vouchers go through and then suddenly stopped it they may easily again, is it worth losing that £5 voucher? The T&Cs are very clear in saying only one voucher per transaction is allowed.
