English supporter gets beaten up in Scotland

Post by BiscLimpkit »

I'm ashamed to say that this happened in my home town late last night. I understand the Scotland-England rivalry but this is horrendous. I hope they find the guilty person(s) and have them neutered.

Warning: the image on the BBC site is not pleasant. I felt uncomfortable anyway

I read about this too Bisc, disgusting
I dont mind rivalry or friendly banter TBH but not when it gets out of hand like this
Bloody hell you're right Bisc, not pleasant at all.:(
I hope they find the bastards who did it.

Nice going Mark!

Seriously though, seriously SICK behaviour in both cases. A 20-30 year old guy punching a 7 year old boy for wearing a shirt: Appaling.

The assault on the 41 year old is incredibly shocking as well.

Both my nephews have often worn German football jerses in their youth, but luckily no-one has ever attacked them over it...

I remember once I was in Amsterdam with my chinese neighbours, and one of them was wearing his Feyenoord shirt, and we got into a little trouble over it...
Funny how little things can provoke idiots into showing aggression...

I was there, the big BNB blackout of november, 2008. We lost many that day...

Vicious bastards. They should get the shit kicked out of them.

I hope the English don't think this is how all Scots feel. Football rivalry and violence should not go together. These are iscolated incidents perpetrated by mindless thugs.

Just as English hooligans abroad don't represent all English fans.

Methinks some (certainly not all or the majority as Mark said) seem very bitter towards England and the England team :(

Yi Long was jokingly implying that Mark had something to do with the attacks because he's Scottish.

Whether Scotland are in the World Cup or not is irrelavant - there are still sick nutters who hate England to an extent that shit like this happens.

This violence has nothing to do with real football fans. It's just an excuse used by the thugs themselves for their inherent racism and the media to whip up a frenzy.
