Anybody have The Hidden Fortress ? (Criterion, preferably).
I'd like to compare it to my new R2FR (which is said to be quite soft and contrast-boosted).

I used to be "the man who loves the movies you hate".
Now I'm just "that weird french guy with a cat avatar who comes to BnB once a year for no reason and then disappears again".

Player -> Advanced -> Snapshot -> Capture to clipboard.
Custom size: 720x404 for 16/9.
720x540 for 4/3.
Video -> Advanced -> Color profile : original.
+ deactivate all forms of deinterlacing.
This way, the settings will be as neutral as possible.
-Grab your shots, paste them in any photo editing program and save to jpg.
-Upload.

Can anyone do a comparison of The Wild Bunch (R1 2 disc SE v R2 disc SE v Old DC Flipper) please?
Do the R1 SE/R2 SE look the same? I watcxhed the old flipper release the other day, it wasn't too bad (it was an early DVD) but in some places there were lines down the screen and the picture is soft.
For £7.99 or less I'd get the SE.

Agreed. It also makes it easier to compare side by side as you can open each image in a new window.
TBH Grim it's a no brainer. The flipper is a mess.grim_tales wrote:Can anyone do a comparison of The Wild Bunch (R1 2 disc SE v R2 disc SE v Old DC Flipper) please?
It's a bloody good NTSC-PAL if that's true.BiscLimpkit wrote:Someone on theDVDF said so. Not sure if it's true or not.bradavon wrote: Are you sure? No one has mentioned it, including Tom. It sure as hell didn't look like one to me.
That isn't mentioned on the DVD Active comparison either.
Doesn't bother me though.

The Muppet Show Eps 20-24 - 3/5
Sex and Violence (Pilot) - 2/5
Obvious at this point the formula was not finely tuned yet, but its coming together.
Several nods to Sesame Street - Kermit says "Have you thought about an educational show for kids" and in one of the "At the Dance" skits, Bert (from Sesame Street) says of his dance partner "You look familliar" and she turns around and laughs just like Ernie!

Of course we are.

It's not that clear but you get the idea.
You don't have this? If I do I'm sure you do -grim_tales wrote:There's no option to delete when I click EDIT on that post.
