Where's your latest opus then, eh? I made a brace of films, which were in-depth character studies, and I like to think I nailed the characters. Well, obviously, that's what happens in the films, but... ;)

OK, so instead I've wasted a little time on the first Jack French game, which I swear I've played before.
Seems alright, and for free you can't complain at all. But I'm spoiled; I'm so used to animation with my point'n'click games, it seems strange without it...

These games are nothing fancy - which I like - and free - which I REALLY like.

I've completed all three games. If anyone needs help I'll see what I can remember. :)

Okay, so I'm playing the one about the murder of Dr. Jose Ferrer. I've got a ton of accumulated clues, but not sure where to go from here. :?:

Well, it's solved, but is there an episode 3?

Edit: nevermind, I see where it says "coming soon."

Thanks, Mark. That was fun. :)

But as for that 3rd game, the hotel thing? It's like being half-blind! I can't stand to look at it.

The first thing you have to do is put on your glasses then everything becomes clear.

They're on the nightstand next to the bed

Okay, Mark. Thanks for that tip. :) But this one is frustrating! I've been all around the room, trying out different objects I've collected to open or smash things, but nothing works. I can't find more than 4 items at this point, and can't seem to make any progress. What next?

Let's see. Some of the items are red herrings and not required for the game. You don't need the pencil, the bottle, the shears, the glass

Have you managed to open the closet yet?

You need to find the key

It's at the top right of the blue door

Ah, thanks. :) Not sure what that French thing is I took from the closet, but perhaps it'll come in handy later?

This third game is a bit more frustrating than the Jack French ones, since it's more just clicking blindly (even with your glasses on). :P

Yeah, the third game is a lot about luck and guessing. I'll help as much as I can.

In case you didn't already get this far you need to go out the window - but be very careful you don't fall!

Nah, I can't get out. :| I tried the kidnapped game, too, which is very similar. I couldn't get out of that one, either. :P I do like the message it gives you when you look at your reflection, though!

I might try some more later, but I get kind of tired of just clicking everywhere on things I can't even see. :?

Okay, I think I'm going to give up on those escape games now, after trying some more. I feel like all I'm doing is damaging my mouse. :P

The Jack French games were fun, even though the first was a bit seedy. The second one was more sophisticated than the first, knowing not to re-ask the same questions and such. Maybe the third will be even better once it's finished.

OK. Here's a guide for the Hotel Room

1. Put on glasses that can be found on the nightstand beside the bed. 2. Take the closet key hidden on the top right of the blue door. 3. Open closet with key and put on shoes. Also take hanging bar from closet. 4. Use bar to smash bedframe. 5. Take another bar from broken bedframe and use it to prize open the window. 6. Go outside window and click on the thin line below the blue squares - be careful because if you click just above you'll fall to your death. 7. Click on left side of screen to go into another room...............

OK, that's half way. See how you manage from there.

Thanks, Mark. :)
I'm in the next room now. The plant looks suspicious . . .
I'll let you know if I end up stuck. :P

Okay, I'm stuck again. :D How frustrating to get out of one room, only to get stuck in another that's practically identical!

I think I'm going to try to go to sleep here in a minute. I hope insomnia doesn't have me back downstairs before long! :(

Anyway, I'm still where I told you in the post above, although I've collected many items. A lot of good they're doing me, though. :? My hand is gettnig sore from blindly clicking everywhere so much!

Have you found the orange thingy behind the pot plant? You need to combine it with another item to make a wrench. You then use the wrench to take off the top-left bed post and inside you'll find another clue

See if that helps...

Well, I had found both of those items. I'm not sure how you'd combine them, but I'll give it a try.
Thanks :)

You know, this game is a lot easier today than it was yesterday, since everything is in English now. :D

btw, my kids are at each other's throats now, trying to figure out what the numbers on the sailboat painting mean. Once I got stuck again, they decided they could figure it out -- WRONG! :P

I'm ready to lock THEM in a hotel room! :D
