Has anyone ordered from here?
http://store.manga.co.nz/index.php?cPath=22
They sell the Eastern Eye titles individually with some at $19.99
But no mention of postage?
What's the postage to the UK?

Good find Mark. E-mail them:

The R1 is non-anamorphic and I really can't see the Tartan UK R2 beating this. It's a really old release with burnt in subs (I think).

I'd gladly take NTSC-PAL over the mess that are the other two English friendly versions.EvaUnit02 wrote:You sure? I think Princess Blade is an NTSC-PAL conversion. The runtime is 93mins according to the one review I can find of it (identical runtime to the NTSC discs).

Ah. LD's DVDs and half of Brad's order (The Isle) is ready for pick-up (I ordered Kwaidan as well, that's ready for pick-up so you can have my copy), I'll do that tomorrow. I have to go into the city to buy Film Festival tickets anyway.
EDIT: Sorry, it'll have to wait til Monday as I have almost exceeded the limit on my credit card. I'll received ~$110 which a friend owes me on that day (he also made an order on my card).

Lol, it's one of those American-English words that's rarely used "acceptably" in Britain, but is nonetheless frequently used. In that context my useage is correct. I'm sure Bobbi, an American English teacher, will affirm.bradavon wrote:You do realise "gotten" is incredibly bad English?, I use it too but as long as you know good English it is not.

True, fair enough.Markgway wrote:Lol, it's one of those American-English words that's rarely used "acceptably" in Britain, but is nonetheless frequently used. In that context my useage is correct. I'm sure Bobbi, an American English teacher, will affirm.
It does sound bloody awful though "gotten" wtf! Still it's not quite as bad as Y'ALL What! I flatly refuse to ever use that one.
The funny thing is in your post got would've made just as much sense.

I'm confused.....
First time I tried to sign up at Gameplanet an automated message said they couldn't ship certain items to me (even though it was only two DVDs). I went to check my cart to make sure nothing was amiss and then when I tried to sign in again it said I couldn't because my password didn't match the e-mail address. Weird since I never gave a password in the first place.
OK. Fuck that. Take two.
I use another address. Everything runs smoother... until I get to the Payment stage and there's only one option: Pay by Direct Credit. Obviously I want to pay by Credit Card but there's no option listed. WTF?? Anyone else have this hastle? So what do I do now?

Use Eva's services.
I never bothered tbh and although I'm unlikely to make a saving I shouldn't end up paying more plus it's easier (so thanks Eva).
What is Direct Credit? I presume it's Direct Debit. I'd e-mail them, about both issues while you're there. You've really left it to the last minute though haven't you. It ends on the 31st of July Kiwi time.
How does the help file suggest internationally you should pay?

No problem, I'd accommodate Mark.bradavon wrote:Use Eva's services.
Yeah, it's Direct debit. A pommy guy on TheDVDF tried to buy the R4 2046 LE from GPstore and encountered the same problem. It's strange, I get the credit card option on the website, but I'm in NZ so maybe that's the smoking gun right there. What is Direct Credit? I presume it's Direct Debit.
Lucky for him that they've extended the offer by a week. You've really left it to the last minute though haven't you. It ends on the 31st of July Kiwi time.
