The Bourne Supremacy

Post by grim_tales »

Does anyone know when the R2 of this is out?
I havent seen this at the cinema yet and thought the R2 might have DTS (the R1/R3 don't, the R1 for example has a Spanish/French 5.1 track in place of English DTS). Strange as The Bourne Identity R1 had DTS as well as normal 5.1.

as far as people know theres no DTS on any version at the moment, and the R3 is 7.49 at CDWOW, so really where you gonna shop? :)

nice film and well worth the cash, even if they do make a new 2 dvd edition in 6 months time!

I might just get the R3 then as its' cheap, I have the original "SE" of TBI on R1 (not the "Explosive Extended" one).

Brad have you got this yet?
Will definitely pick it (Supremacy) up one day, Bourne Identity was excellent IMO :D

I prefer the R2 cover to the R1, I'm not sure which one I'll get now come Jan/Feb, all the DVDs seem the same.

At least on the R2 they dont have Damon in a Jackie Chan black T-shirt (TM) ;)

I think he looks darker and more menacing in the R2 cover/poster pose.

How can you get £2.50 off? Is there a new voucher I don't know about.

I have Identity R1 (original DVD) pending in a trade but . . .

The way the action was shot in this really, really got on my nerves. You could barely see the fight and during the car chase it was impossible to see who was firing at who.

Having said that Cas who wrote the DVD Debate review reckons it works much better on the small screen so I may give it another go.

Spoilers

Plus they killed off the lovely and talented "Franka Potente" which can't be forgiven :-( :-D .

Spoilers over!

The first therefore IMO is much better.

It was great to see "Oksana Akinshina" in a cameo though. I didn't realise she knew English (she couldn't when making "Lilya 4-Ever"). I hope she does well in the future.

I love in these films how they have such a European feel with European actors. I hope this doesn't change!

p.s - Spoiler tags no longer work :(
