French Zidane "headbutt" song

Post by grim_tales »

:D Tom have you heard this?

I just heard something about it on the radio, apparently some French guys made a song called Cul de Bou (sp?) - well whatever the French for "headbutt" is, about ZZ headbutting Materazzi. The lyrics translate as "Zidane he hit him, we missed the cup" (I think).
Now its No 1 in France or at least high in the charts.

Here you go. There's a sample on there as well. Jaunty little tune it is, too :)

Sorry I'm ten days late. :D

Yes, I've heard this song.

It's a parody of a song that was written before the world cup.
Its title was "Zidane il va marquer" (Zidane, he's going to score).

Now it's "Zidane il l'a tapé" (Zidane, he hit him) and "La coupe on l'a ratée" (The cup, we lost it).

The name of the song is "Coup de Boule".
Coup = Strike, hit.
Boule = Ball, Head.
Coup de Boule = Headbutt.

It's my favourite french song this year. :lol:
I used to be "the man who loves the movies you hate".
Now I'm just "that weird french guy with a cat avatar who comes to BnB once a year for no reason and then disappears again".
