I have to admit, the first thing that came into my mind when i heard about this was the CTX liquid bomb from Shiri. Apparently at all London airports and some many US airports as well...you can't get even a tube a toothpaste through secrurity, let alone beverages or any other liquid.
I'm still alittle unclear on how the information about the liquid explosives was uncovered..but thankfully it seems to have been stopped either way, if it was infact going to happen.

There's been a bomber before who had taken liquids on the plane, made the bomb using those liquids in the bathroom of the plane, then hid the bomb under his seat, and it went off on the next flight...
But that guy, also an islamic terrorist btw, was caught more then a few years ago.

IT'S A SENSE OF TOUCH. IN ANY REAL CITY, YOU WALK, YOU KNOW? YOU BRUSH PAST PEOPLE, PEOPLE BUMP INTO YOU. IN L.A., NOBODY TOUCHES YOU. WE'RE ALWAYS BEHIND THIS METAL AND GLASS. I THINK WE MISS THAT TOUCH SO MUCH, THAT WE CRASH INTO EACH OTHER, JUST SO WE CAN FEEL SOMETHING.

Okay putting this topic now on track
, there are two comments from the bbc new forum website, which I tend to agree with:

andHow convinient that the Government declares a national terror threat, just as people are beginning to oppose Britain's support for Israel's invasion of Lebbanon. Great diversion. Now expect months of pro National ID propaganda, and don't be surprised if Parliament grants an extension for the time a 'terror' suspect can be detained without charge. Wake up.
It is very interesting how all the media attention now is hijacked by attacks that didn't happen. Nobody is concerned any more about the real carnage happening in Lebanon and Iraq. After all, the only proof that the attacks on the planes were really planned is word of CIA and MI-6 agents, who are already well known for their love for the truth.

Isn't it more convenient that you choose this opportunity to oppose this war just when most people are becoming aware of terrorists in their midst? Great Diversion. Now expect some more anti Democratic, pro conspiracy Communist/Fascism propaganda. And don't be surprised when this guy continues to dredge up this issue long past its news worthiness. Wake up!How convenient that the Government declares a national terror threat, just as people are beginning to oppose Britain's support for Israel's invasion of Lebanon. Great diversion. It is very interesting that all the media attention is now hijacked by a different Islamic fascist group who attempted to commit a terrorist crime. "Attempted" what a weak word. If I attempted to kill you and the cops arrested me..that's just so convenient. There's no proof. So what if I was holding a knife and about to shove it in your throat, they should wait till it's happened. It is very interesting how all the media attention now is hijacked by attacks that didn't happen. Nobody is concerned about the lack of real carnage in London and Israel. After all, the only proof the attacks were planned came from CIA and Mi-6 agents. Who are well known for their trustworthiness.
But lets just come down to brass tacks. Isn't it more true that you suffer from depression due to a latent desire to have carnal knowledge with your own mum? So you target Israel and Britain governments as an external tormentor so you can project your own inner turmoil onto them to make yourself feel better? You sick degenerate. Only a Tardis would want to fuck his own mum.

"It has been said that democracy is the worst form of government except all the others that have been tried." - Winston Churchill
It's always easy to criticise democracy when you live in a first world nation,. If you were stuck in some 3rd world desert hole the first world life would be looking mighty cosy from where you were sitting.

In that case you dont miss democracy, but just a better life...
Democracy is a good thing, dont get me wrong... but the way it is here in Holland, the USA, the UK and I guess more places, is that it isnt perfect...
Other systems also arent perfect, I agree. But bombing a country to pieces just so can also have the joys of a democracy is going a bit too far in promoting our system

i was on holiday(ish) when this whole "terror" thing happened...but as soon as you hear the word terror you can guess what the news will say and whom it will be blamed on. and the new measures they will introduce to combat terror, bascially infringing your privacy even more... notice how 80% of the time when "terror" attacks happen the countries "leaders" (pfft) are on holiday?
i cant believe people are just doing as they are told without questioning the stupidity of these anti-terror measures, i mean that has to be the dumbest thing i ever heard....pour your (potentially volatile) liquids into the bins hah man how can people not see that when they are asked to do it...
