That sucks, as far as I can see you're not guilty of any of those 3 things. :?

WTF? You aren't guilty of any of these three factors. Call eBay and tell them about that email and that you are not violating any of the three rules they held against you.

If your Thai DVD is an original then those Weinersteins have no right whatsoever to stop a UK resident from selling a legal import. AFAIK HKL have the UK rights to this? You need to contact e-bay and inform them of their mistake and get your auction restored or refunded.

You are NOT allowed to sell dvds from another country, thats why. I went thru this many times and in the end there is NOTHING you can do, you cannot argue at all. I even went to Fact about it and they said, basically

SHUT UP AND TAKE IT LIKE THE SCUM YOU ARE

The reason they will give you in the end if you try to argue (dont bother by the way its pointless) they will just say Its ILLEGAL to sell dvds not from your region on the wrong Ebay.

So if your selling a dvd on Ebay.co.uk and the dvd is not from the UK, you cannot sell it :) bullshit when you look at the hundreds of thousdands of dvds not from UK and the massive amounts of pirate dvds on Ebay.

Basically get rid of it on a forum or some place, Ebay win every time on this one.

I have had it happen many times with wildly different dvds and the forst few times I tried to argue, but now I ust say fuck them all as they are jokers and the pirates run Ebay.

Sounds ridiculous to me. You bought it legally and now you just want to sell it. It's not like he imported a huge amount and sells them one after the other.

I say if their stance is that it's not a R2 DVD, so it is illegal, you can bombard them with mails about each and every R1 dvd thats for sale on their site. Tell them to remove those as well... let's see if they do, and if they dont it's double standards.

Pfft more like eGay (has that joke ever been said before?).

Unlucky Keung. If Romero's amusing rant is correct then it looks like you're better off selling on forums or something.

Doesnt work :) I tried, they ignored me basically. I grassed up loads of real and loads of pirates of the title 1st dvd I got banned from ebay, none of them were took down. So its bolocks as they dont care. There were hundreds of the same title as I was selling on Ebay by the way.

Damnnn.. I hate it when different rules apply for different people. Personally, I wouldnt bother with such a website/company anymore, simply cause I cant stand that kind of thing...

Arent there any other ebay-style online websites where you can auction off your DVDs? Here in Holland we have a bunch of different ones.

Thats because you cannot get the details for the Criterion as its not from the UK, you have to list it the hard way and type out all the information instead of putting in the name or barcode. Hence your not suposed to sell non UK dvds in the 1st place (apprently). :) check on Ebay beofre you sell yours and see how others list theirs.
