I've never been a fan of SMG myself. Even in her Buffy period, I thought it was the show that carried her, instead of her carrying the show. I feel she has a limited acting-range, and a very annoying voice (Beverly Hills accent, like, you know...).
I havent seen her horror flicks besides Scream...

Started my European Computer Driving Licence (Level 1) at College this week :D
Very easy so far but its only the first lesson :D
Went out today and had to go to an employment adviser session (dull) and run an errand :( But for some reason I bought 2 big Cadburys slabs (250g each) for £2.20.. :) The Biscuit one + the one with orange chips :D
It was a French market today in town as well and there was a guy selling hot dogs (sausages in a baguette really) at a stall (freshly made + they cook in front of you, not that crap you get from a burger van), I had one and it was REALLY nice. :) Mmm-mmm :D

man im getting a bollocking for looking out for my parents....

3 guys just came to the door "we'll do your garden for £180" this include, clearing it, taking away the grass, levelling it, putting stuff down and gravel over the top.... somehow im just really not convinced of their honesty, so i told mom i think they are being dumb to just trust people who scour the estate and knock on doors...they have already supposedly done 2-3 gardens this morning... i wonder how they can just openly trust people liek this...i just have the feelign they aregonna get screwed over. but im in the wrong for being cynical...maybe they will do a good job but instinct tells me they wont... it'll either be half finished or just half-assed.

great isnt it too look out for people and yet be in the wrong

It is kinda funny. I kept trying to read her nametag in a "not-looking-at-her" sort of way but it didnt work.

My luck with women could be a Wong Kar Wai movie... :D

Yi,

:D
I'm the same way, Grim. I have a total asian fetish it seems. A 'normal' looking asian girl I could feel attracted too, yet many blonde white girls who others say are very attractive, usually do nothing to me.

There's just something abot non-white chicks I like. Actually, that's not true... I think it might be just a dislike for BLONDE, Blue-eyed girls... cause I also quite like brown haired-dark-eyed girls.
Also, I dont like sticky girls, as in they have sticks for arms and legs. I need them to have a normal figure.

I just used my primitive Japanese skills to ask this dude where the hotel was. I'm a legend imo. Only a few weeks to go and I fly out to Tokyo.

Oh and nice photo Shen.

I'm having a bit of a dillemma.

A girl who I was in school with last year, and got along with great, called me up tonight and asked if I would be free to hook up this week with her and a mutual friend of ours (also classmate, girl) to go into Amsterdam for some shopping and just get some food and just talk a bit etc. just hang out, basically.

Now, I like the girl. I mean, I like her as a friend, we always got along very well, she's nice to talk to, we 'click' as it were. Our personalities seem to match as in we like being around eachother.

But there's no way there would ever happen anything between us. we're both in 5+ year relationships with people we love.

But obviously, my friendship with this girl has worried my girlfriend in the past. She's affraid I will fall in love, or that the girl will fall in love with me, etc etc blahblahblah.

I love my girlfriend till death (literally), and dont want to do ANYTHING to cause her any distress, worry, let alone pain. So I'm pretty hesitant to say yes to the invitation to hook up, cause I know it would upset my girlfriend.
I told the girl that she and the other girl should just plan to go to town together, and if I'm open that day and are able to make it, I might meet up with them. But honestly, I would feel guilty about hooking up with them.

But man, it's so weird to feel guilty about being frinds with someone. I always used to have female friends before my girlfriend came along and put an end to all that...
I'm just so affraid of hurting my girlfriend that it seems like I cant have normal relationships/friendships with other women anymore, without having to worry about what my girlfriend would feel about it...

It sucks, cause I really like the girl from school alot, and regard her as a friend.

Ah man, sometimes having someone love you is such a responsibilty, as in you having to make sure you won't hurt them... :N

Obviously, it goes both ways. I wouldnt like her meeting other guys either.

So best thing would be to blow the friend from school off with some lame excuse, never see her again, and keep on not upsetting my girlfriend.

Have you tried explaining things to her? I assume you have but if she gets overly jealous/protective because you have female friends, thats' her problem IMO :?

Well... she knows I like the other girl (as friends only), cause I've worked together with her on a bunch of assignments for school and she knows I like working with her.

However, anything that's HER problem, is automatically MY problem as well. As she's my girlfriend. I will have to do my best always to not upset her or do anything wrong. Just like I expect the same from her.
She's jealous, insecure, and protective, but so am I, I think.

It's not like she would dump me over this, but she sure as hell would never let me hear the end of it, that's for sure.

Hey Yi, that the crux in my opinion, would you like her going out with 2 guys, if you feel no, then you may want to understand where she is coming from. Yeah girls are jealous, insecure and protective. Hell my wife is, when I start chatting up to girls, and making them laugh. Maybe ask your girlfriend to come along with you? That may be the best solution?

Yeah my girl is the same way. If I'm just being nice to a girl, any girl, she'll mention it later. Once we met up with a mutual girlfriend, and I was just talking a bit with the girl, and my girl became a living timebomb, REALLY pissed off and stuff... on the verge of tears and just pissed off as hell. Gawd, I was so pissed off at her. We brought the mutual girlfriend to the train, and as soon as she left, I just took my train home and left her on her own.
Maybe ask your girlfriend to come along with you? That may be the best solution?
Nah, she doesnt know the girl who called me personally, just from what I've told her. She HAS met the other girl who would tag along, in the bus once, but I doubt it would be a good idea (see what happened the other time) to bring her along.

Ah well... it all seems like something that I'm trying to do everything right and proper, and in the end it will somehow blow up in my face, with everyone hating me...

As you said, I wouldnt like her meeting up with 2 guys I don't/hardly know, so I shouldnt do the same myself.

Trust me, it not easier when you married :), but insecurity with your girlfriend , another thing i forgot to add is, has something happened in her past that led her to being insecure. With my wife, her father was very bad, use to beat up all the brothers, sisters and her mother, and she used to see it. She hates her father which a passion, and when we first started going out, she always had this barrier. Now the barrier is gone, she feel a bit insecure, she doesn't want me to leave and at times is emotional. I know how she is, and can deal with her, because she has been hurt in the past, so just wondered if that was a reason for the times you girlfriend becomes the 'living timebomb'?
