I need a Bud Spencer / Terence Hill specialist

Post by tom2681 »

Hey,

I know someone on this board said he was a huge Hill / Spencer fan, so I have a question for him:

I'm currently looking for a proper DVD edition of "Più Forte, Ragazzi !" aka "Plane Crazy" aka "All the Way, Boys".
(That's the one where Hill plays Plata and Spencer plays Salud)

What I need is:
1. widescreen transfer (either 1:85 or 2:35).
2. english soundtrack.

The italian DVD doesn't seem to have an english soudtrack.
The german DVD is dubbed too.

I've found a danish DVD that might be OK:
http://dvdoo.dk/ShowItem.aspx?ID=4050

I've heard of a finnish DVD ("Siita Vaan Pojat !") but can't find any info on it.

I've also found a R4 DVD on Ebay (again, no specs).

Is there a finnish guy or a new-zealander who can provide some info around here ? :D

Thanks.

P.S: While we're talking about this, in which region am I more likely to find "proper" Hill/Spencer DVDs ?
I've tried the R2UKs but they're washed-out, cropped, non-anamorphic and probably cut as well...
I used to be "the man who loves the movies you hate".
Now I'm just "that weird french guy with a cat avatar who comes to BnB once a year for no reason and then disappears again".

First of all, there is no uncut edition of this film available anywhere. Neither on DVD nor on VHS.

The Danish and the Swedish discs have an 1.0 English soundtrack. Can't comment on the image quality, though.

That's what I was afraid of.

Well... might as well try the danish edition.
Thanks LD. :)

The reason for the cuts though is that they are jumpcuts. So it's not the fault of any distributor.

BTW, if anyone is interested:

I've just found this site. You'll find pretty much every DVD release for all Spencer/Hill films in there. :alien:

Whoa! This guy has put a lot of work/money into this website.

I have about 15 films with the two guys on DVD.
