Whoa! Quite a shock, because I knew them and talked to them a few times. I even went on a reportage trip to Stuttgart for a few days and Karen was part of our small group.

Damn... my condolences, LD.

Times like this makes you realize what a small world it really is, and how close we are all connected at times...
Hopefully they've caught the right 5-6 people, and theyll be punished accordingly... although sadly it wont bring these people back...

Sorry to hear that, LD. :?
I used to be "the man who loves the movies you hate".
Now I'm just "that weird french guy with a cat avatar who comes to BnB once a year for no reason and then disappears again".

We had a good-bye gathering last week. About 2000 people were there and in the entrance hall they set up a little shrine with a huge book where you can write down some words of condolences or good-bye wishings etc.

Yeah... those poor nazi's in WW2.... poor bastards... ;)

Nah... I just wish that in case of war, those people that DECIDED we needed a war (mostly the leaders) should take care of business themselfs and fight those they want to fight directly, instead of ordering young soldiers to do the dirty work, and thinking it's OK to also kill hundreds of thousands of innocent people who just want a normal life like we all want a normal life...

I don't think this is a suitable thread for jokes.

LD knew these people remember.

I was making sombre point is all.
