:D @ Slasher. It looks quite nice when you have the tin its cardboard slipcase thingy.
I'll watch all 3 films one day.

Do you have the set? Is there a button on the bottom (to get El Mariachi out?)

Received/bought over the last week orso...

- Super Monkey Ball Deluxe for Xbox. Seems like a nice game. Played it for 20 minutes orso...
-Sonic Mega Collection: Finally a chance to revisit some of those great Sonic games. I'm a big fan of Sonic 1 and 2, but after that it all went downhill. Sonic 3 and Sonic and Knuckles miss that 'sonic-feel' that I love in the first 2 games.

- Layer Cake 2-disk set, which was only 3 pounds :D
- Whisper of the Heart
- Final Fantasy; Advent Children 2 disc.

Should be arriving soon: Porco Rosso, Laputa...

R3K:
Cowboy Bebop complete series boxset - it doesn't have the DD5.1 remixes, but for super-cheap it was I don't care.
Hana-bi - for the correct colours. Will hang onto my R4 for the subtitled making of.

The Canton Godfather (Miracles) - Remastered Joy Sales DVD from HK.

Can't compete with the HKL in terms of picture quality. Got it for the extras (deleted scenes).

I just ordered The Thing R1 Collector's Edition to replace my letterbox R2 version. I just can't watch letterbox images anymore because they look terrible on a big screen.

I ordered the new version from CD-Wow for £7.99. :)

I was under the impression its exactly the same as the original release, except for the fact that the main feature is anamorphic instead of letterbox?

I still think they should have made it a 2 disc release to give the film optimum bitrate...

They also remastered it (and changed some of the colours).
