Seriously Romero you do come up with out of this world CD WOW prices. If they're really do exist as Salty says how come you're the only person on "this" forum whoever spots them?

You must know the vast majority of us regularly scower (sp?) the web and particularly CD WOW yet only you spot them.
romerojpg wrote:and no I didnt contradict anything fools, the dvd wasnt for me
Symantecs. You said they weren't worth 15p and a devils company yet you paid £3.
romerojpg wrote:and ALL 3 extended 4 dvd versions of the LOTR films have been lower than this on cdwow, with proper packaging!
Romero there's a difference between broken and proper. The EIV packaging like I said is IDENTICAL to all the other digi-pack releases (so presumably they belong to the devil too?). It's just elsewhere has better.

Show you proof? why, I know they are that price and so do thousands of others, if you dont beleve me tuff shit, do some research and look for yourself. I dont lie, many on this forum and other forums do. I would show you an invoice for them, but cdwow delete my orders as I order so many and my past history doesnt show up more than the last 200 orders. Beleve me or dont its up to you.

Just becuase you dont find any good deals doesnt mean others cannot, all you do is copy and paste from the dvd froumns, I at least find them origanall, before they spread.

If you think the EIV packaging is identical to the Region 3 and Region 1 sets (and many other quality regions) you are obviously very mistaken, do some research and you will find they are nothing at all alike, the UK gets shit, cheapo paper packing which loks and feels like crap and the rest of the world gets supurb sturdy quality book like packaging that can hold up to a nucleatr bomb blast. nothing alike at all, well if you have no hands and are blind maybe they are the same..

I paid 3 pound for Hostage for a friend, I didnt buy it for myself. Obviously you dont know where to use Symantecs in a conversation, if it was for me then yes. I didnt pay for it, it wasnt my cash, so I didnt even pay 15p for it fool :D

 :D  :D

It's funny, there are two types of the original EE packages in Germany as well. I'm happy I pre-ordered the limited editions, as right now I can't find the hard cover ones anymore. They are all in this cheap paper shit covers here as well.

here's your quotes on buying hostage romero :D

"DONT BUY HOSTAGE!!!! ITS A RENTAL! the bastards sold me a piece of crap no extras, no anything rental ;( bollocks and they wont even accept it back, it says RENTAL COPY on the dvd, but not on the box. I am going back again tommrow to complain again."

"Its worth trouble to me, even if it cost 1p its worth it. Its not the cash I am bothered about, its there ways."

"You would if it has 10 forced trailers, no menus, no extras and shite compressed picture"

note not one mention at the time this dvd was for a friend lol.

anyway you still haven't explained why you don't post these amazing bargains you seem to find.

Good man. It will go for more than that on eBay alone.

Paper! Ours are cardboard.

Exactly

And ermm exactly :D

What on earth is that supposed to mean?

Who maintains the Vouchers thread? Who spends time searching for new vouchers? (as well as adding those from others of course). You know jolly well I often post bargains on this forum which many often take up, where they're sourced doesn't mean shit.

In fact I post a bloody lot more bargains than you do so how about be a team player and stop hogging these apparent bargains???
If you think the EIV packaging is identical to the Region 3 and Region 1 sets (and many other quality regions) you are obviously very mistaken.
Now you're just making things up. Show me where I even remotely said that?
cheapo paper packing
Is there a third type you and LD know of? My UK box set is definitely cardboard.

Funnily enough anyone else (pretty much) I'd be angry by the comments but Romero it's par for the course. I've known him long enough not to take it seriously.

I don't think he thinks before posting half the time (compared with everyone else where it's a third of the time :D). He often has to back track later when he realises he's made a goof.

p.s - Thanks btw. I will admit that it's as much for my benefit as everyone else of course.

He won't be a team player & stop hogging these apparent bargains because they don't exist! He's making them up! Its very easy for him to say that the bargains he gets were "over a year ago" just to try to cover himself so he doesn't have to show proof.

Bradavon we do appreciate your bargains thread. I've just learnt to not believe a word romerojpg says because he talks rubbish all the time.

I tell you what romerojpg, next time you find one of these "bargains" on CD-Wow, how about you post a link to it to prove it?

I was talking about cardboard, too. My boxes from the first pressings are very hard, thick and solid cardboard boxes, that according to romero not even a nuclear explosion could destroy. And then there is the thin cardboard box, looking like the cardboard boxes of the old Shaw Brothers DVDs. The ones you can open from the spine, while the original boxes have a closed spine.

Well yes but you said I said they were identical and I never even remotely said that. I said the UK DVDs aren't shit is what I said.

To put it in perspective bootlegs have shit packaging, old school HK DVDs have shit packaging the LOTR DVDs do not. Capisca?

Yup your VOUCHER thread is rather cool, maybe even masterful.
Shame so many forums frown on such threads and ban people :(

still I was refering mainly to the dvdforums copy and edits you do of the latest dvd bargain, but hey I guess they are good as a few on here probibly dont visist the dvd forums, I think its one lace to visist even just for the bargain threads.

I wonder how many people have bought this Lord of the Rings dvd so far from seeing this thread? as hell its getting plenty of bumps, as hell the films worth it I gues :D

If my sister owned them I'd still want them myself. Are the R4's thick or thin cardboard Eva?

Shame indeed but then most forums are run by people with delusions of grandeur.

Nope, I've already had all 3 films since they were released. I got the R1 Extended Editions with the packaging that could "stand up to a nuclear bomb blast". :P

Not if she lives in the same house.

Thick.

I won't bother buying LOTR on DVD, HD-DVD yes.

Personally I still would, part of my collection and all that. My Dad owns DVDs I do and visa-versa.

For him it's a bit silly as he just wants to watch them.
