Cecilia Cheung got married tooooo...

Post by thelostdragon »

...Nicolas Tse! So there you go guys!
Newly-wed singer Tse Ting Fung regaled fans with his views on love and marriage while promoting his new album Don't Forget Me in Beijing. He said marriage is a gamble, but he feels great with his wife, famous actress and singer, Cecilia (Cheung).

Tse Ting Fung also defended himself against claims he is using his new marriage to promote his new album, saying "I don't know who revealed the news first, but I never considered denying my marriage with my wife. I can hide it from the whole world, but not from her."

"Cecilia and I have known each other for 8 years, it's not too early for us to get married," he said. "We are under more pressure now, but we strive together to work for our careers. It feels great."

Online rumour mongers have been speculating about Cecilia and Tse Ting Fung's marriage since August, but the singer only confirmed his nuptials on September 29.

Nah, she won't be as stupid as many other HK actresses (Brigitte Lin or Feng Jiao).

He might not like it. As far as I know he's not gay

Leslie Cheung is (was) the only guy I'd touch (if I was gay, that is)

It's tragic, but if someone wants to commit suicide it's their life. All you can do is try to disuade them. Unless they're terminally ill, in which case I have no problem in assited suicide (though it should be regulated). No one should be forced to live in pain.

Nic is handsome, like his father, but I would stop short of calling him "dead sexy". Ahem, telling us more than we need to know there, Bruce.

The only reason Cecilia married Nic is because I turned her down a couple of times. Well, she kept leaving her tampons on the bathroom floor and that gets on my nerves.

That came from left field. Does suicide need to be an admirable act? I'm sure he had his reasons and if he wants to let him, it's his decision (but as Mark says do all you can to to disuade him).

It's easy for you to sit there all warm, comfortable and well calling euthanasia murder (by the way I disagree  ).

Exactly, it's wrong in so many ways. Just because the Christian radicals think it's wrong, easy for them to say that when they're not suffering.

Next post about suicide or Leslie Cheung will be deleted.
This thread is about Cecilia Cheung and Nic "can't act to save my life" Tse.

''Can't act to save my life'' bit harsh, no? I think he is a decent actor. Granted, his good looks carry him through most of his roles, but i've never really thought of him as a bad actor just as much as i’ve never thought of him as a great actor. :)

I think most of the criticism he receives on these boards (and others)may stem from a bit of jealousy. Young, minted and now he is married to Cecilia.

I think Nic can act when he wants to... but not too many HK movies demand that sort of thing...

I was just looking through my collection and he has been in a few really good films im my opinion, not that he delivered great acting performances in any of them but he did not put me off them.

Young and Dangerous:Prequel
Tiramisu
Metade Fumaca
My schoolmate the barbarian

Metade Fumaca is the only film I've seen Tse in where he didn't come across as rather bland. I don't mean that to be much of a criticism of him though, as Mark quite rightly stated there simply aren't enough high-profile HK roles out there that require anything more of an actor his age.

He pulled off some nice martial arts moves in "Dragon Tiger Gate".

I couldn't see Dragon Tiger Gate.
Nic's hair was obscuring the film. :D

Yeah i agree. Although the film is pretty bad, he provided the fight highlights....not donnie.

He has delivered good action in quite a few films, he was excellent in my schoolmate the barbarian. :)
