Thats not quite the full price (with shipping it is slightly over £18 ) but its the cheapest I can find.

I'm not paying ca 30 quid for the R2

Are DVD Pacific customs friendly? I dont think they are?

The R1 (and R2) are dead expensive from CD-WOW too.

grim,have you based that price on a single item or on the fact it's 4 discs?because dvdpacific charge postage by the disc.i'd go with axelmusic.com £21.99 and guaranteed no customs.

Yes you are right they do charge postage by the disc (I know, I've ordered from them before), the $35 price doesnt include postage. Thats what they have listed on the site.

The Canadian R1 (which says Les Simpson on it) is £21.99, the US R1 is £26.99.

i got the canadian region 1.the french writing is on an outer slipcase that when removed reveals the english version.it's a new fox thing,same with angel season 5.so if you don't like french writing ( it doesn't bother me) you have nothing to fear getting the canadian version.

Do you mean it has an ADDITIONAL slipcase saying Les Simpson, and you take that off to reveal the English slipcase (that looks like a TV screen) that says The Simpsons - The Complete Fifth Season on it? You then take THAT off to get into the actual case?

If thats it, then yeah, I'm fine with the Candian R1
