Hey,

I submitted my little film "Car Snatchers - Part 1" to a competition. It used to be on the first place with 4/5 stars of an average rating. Then some bastards came along with a film called "Voodoo at me" which is quite good actually. The guy and his friends though have started to rate every other film with 1 single star, only so he will get higher in the ranking. That resulted that my film is now on third place with an average rating of 2 stars which is bollocks. People in the forums are really pissed.

The competition ends someday in December. First place will win a video camera. So I need your guys' and gals' votes. The only thing that could be complicated though is the fact that you have to sign up before you vote.

I'll help you through the process though.

First of all, here are the films:

Click on "Registrieren" which you can find over the website's search engine. Another window should pop up.

I guess the only things that need explanation here are:
- PLZ = ZIP Code
- Stadt = City

Untick the above box as it will make you receive spam. But tick the lower box so that you are agreeing to the terms and conditions.

Then click on "Registrieren". You will then receive a confirmation email.

After that... pump my film with 5 stars please...

To be honest, I wouldn't do this if these "V.A.M." fuckers weren't such assholes and gave me like 20 additional bad ratings.

When you sign up make sure you untick the first tick box it's asking if you don't mind spam e-mail and phone calls. The second is asking if you agree to the T&Cs so needs ticking.

When I click on "Ihre Bewertung" I get Client Errors???

p.s - That Voodo at Me is rubbish, yours is MUCH better. No contest.

Ok, voted for your movie (5 outta 5) with my freshly made-up nickname kaaskop, which pretty much means 'whitey'
Also voted a 1 outta 5 for those bastards voodoo movie.

But if I were you, I'd voice an official complaint, then take your own movie out of the competition, stating very clearly WHY (to all the visitors of the site, if possible (forum maybe?)). If the other moviemakers who were also victim of those bastard's actions, follow suit, the website HAS to do something about it, or lose all their respectability.

Sure complain but to take your entry out would just ultimately mean he wins. I don't think that's the answer.

Not necessarily. They announced today that the jury takes things like multiple voting into consideration upon their final decision of the winner.
