It's finally coming. After years of waiting, rumours and the usual other mysteries that come along a great, independent film, here is an official video announcement from Troy Duffy. Make sure to watch the video until the end.

I saw it on TV years ago. Was alright, I think.

I just didn't think it was a candidate for a sequel. I mean, no one went to see the first one.

That's because it was never released theatrically. Not because it was too bad for theater, but because Troy Duffy and Harvey Weinstein had a major argument. Miramax decided to minimise Duffy's fame by making it a straight-to-video film. Heck, there is even a whole documentary about this story called "Overnight".

On TV you say. It was most certainly cut and the sound edited as well.

As for who would go and see the second film... I'm sure the 30.000 voters of IMDB will. I mean they managed to give this film an average rating of 7.7, which is a lot on IMDB. Count the thousands of people who own the first part on DVD in as well.

Well, I'm sure if it scrapes a theatrical release you mad fans will all prove me wrong.

It was probably the R-rated version I saw. Too long ago to remember.

The original was just a pretty weak B Movie that got internet sackridden like Equilibrium.
