The Number 23 - Jim Carrey in a serious movie...

Post by thelostdragon »

Bugger. I was kinda hoping this was funny, because the premise sounded like a typical Jim Carrey one, like where he flips out over the number. LOL! Well, he kinda does anyway in this film. Only in a serious manner.

Looks cool, but I feel it's a bit overdone with the 'Ringu/Grudge' type marketing, like the poster and the stuff in the trailer.

As a movie itself it could be good, but it seems like it's marketed like a horror while personally I'd like this premise more as a psychological thriller or something... which maybe it is..

I've a feeling that I'd shit myself if I watched this at the cinema.

Therefore I'm going to wait for the DVD release, and watch it in a bright, non-scary environment at low volume.

Are you sure you wanted to post that on a forum populated by blokes?
