I didn't say it was humane it's just more humane but yes I disagree of course injecting someone compared to strangulation is more humane.
How can it not be? Should Sadam have been executed probably not, will I lose any sleep over it certainly not.

Of course we do by electing them, we choose who should be in power based on what they stand for. Sure we don't have a say in every new bill but how on earth would that be possible? There are over 70 million people in this country.
Besides my only point was compared to some other countries British the government do an excellent job (that's not to say based on Western governments they do a great job). It could easily be far worse.
