Highlander is way overrated. When I finally saw it, it turned out to be just a sombre fantasy film with okay 80's special effects and a good soundtrack. I couldn't see why every man and his dog thought that it was the 2nd coming of Christ.

Have you even seen it Bradavon? doesnt seem like the type of film you would ever watch, ever.

I will pick it up when its a few quid for the documenray, as I own loads of other versions.

The films wonderful, dont care if some dont like it :D

Anchor Bay UK seem to have sold the rights to loads of films to Optimum :( they were releasing it, but now they dont own the rights to loads of films.

Yep and I like it but like Eva says it's not a keeper.

Most seem to think Shawshank Redemption is the best thing since sliced bread. I've never worked that one out either.

Nor me Shawshank is just like any other Prison film, I think Escape from Alkatraz is better than that :D

What? This has been out earlier in Germany then. That's odd, isn't it? It's a 2-disc tin box set.

Love that film.

YES for a documantary on the film, a real doc, not a featurette! its 90 minutes long for gods sake :)

Did the german set get the documantary at all then? as I never heard of the german version before.

It's the first. All prior UK DVDs have been rubbish.

It's easy to forget that in a multi-region world but remember most don't import.
