Hey,
I just tried opening DVD Profiler and I keep getting "Unable to open DVD Profiler Database. Attempt repair now?"
Problem is I can't locate the DVD Collection data file, may have to start all over again
I probably sent delered some folders not realising they were Profiler folders - doh!
The online collection is still there though.

You can download your on-line back into your profiler. Instead of uploading your collection, chose download your collection.

Un-install it and re-install it. Then download your collection again.

Oh and make sure you get your profiler key from the official website in case you have lost it.

Thanks LD
, yeah, I've probably cocked something up
I've copied all my current collection into an Excel document, and bookmarked my Current Online collection, so I can just get the UPC's from there

What do you need the UPCs for?

Its much easier to add DVDs by their UPC, searching for them by title is a pain IMO.

I don't think you'll have to add them one by one, grim.
Open your profiler once you've re-installed it. Go to "Online -> My Profiler..."
There you log in as when you would want to upload your collection. However, do not upload. Instead, choose "Download from My Profiler" and voilà, your collection will be restored. The only thing you'll have to update are the cover scans.

Is there a way to browse your list other than by genre?

Seems to be working now - spent ages arsing about transferring/overwriting folders... only thing is no DVD cover images appear when I'm working within Profiler. They're there when your collectiojn appears online, and all the other info, cast etc is there, but no covers.

Yeah. You can click the "Box/Gift Sets" "Movies" "Television" "Misc." sections that I created myself, once there you can click "All Owned".
Or you could just click
this link .
