Cool, I'll just double-dip then when that version comes out. I'd like to have the PS2 extras without compromising for shitty graphics and compressed to hell sound (the PS2 version).

I've decided to just get the GC version of Zelda Twilight Princess, Wii looks like a wasteland in regards to quality titles for hardcore gamers. What is there? Zelda:TP, Metroid Prime 3 and...? I'm not interested in fucking gimmicky party games for Joe Average Non-Gamer, children and girls.

Aw oki. I thought you had a Wii...
I wouldnt want one either btw, and for the same reason: not enough interesting games coming out. Which has always been a problem with Nintendo, especially the last few generations.

From Ebay:-
Zelda Collector's Edition compilation (GC).
For Majora's Mask which I never got around to buying on N64. I wouldn't want the N64 version anyway, the anti-aliasing is terrible - like looking at something through vaseline-smeared goggles.

There were a good number of good to great games on Gamecube that appealed to gamers looking for mature titles.

Eternal Darkness, Zelda: Wind Waker, Metroid Prime 1 & 2, Rogue Leader, Resident Evil 0, Resident Evil 1 Remake, Resident Evil 4 (still the best version to date, technology wise. By far the best graphics and sound. The PC port is even worse than the PS2 version), Viewtiful Joe 1 & 2.

I'd most definitely add Killer7 to that list, too.

Yup and Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes (awesome MGS1 remake by the Eternal Darkness developer Silicon Knights, with cutscene direction by Ryuhei Kitamura).

Better than even Cliffhanger, The Long Kiss Good Night or Die Hard 2?

Yes. The Long Kiss Good Night sucks mostly but the other two are great. Seen both of them at least 5 or 6 times (not masterpieces, but very re-watchable films).
