LOTR: ROTK: EE R3 - £5.99
As the title says, this price is before discount:
http://www.cd-wow.com/detail_results_2. ... ffid=13858
It must be a mistake. For that price I'm happy to own it again. I can then sell/trade my current/this copy.

LOTR: TTT: EE is £15.99!

I would buy they dont sell for much even on ebay, I was tempted but hey they are probibly the Russian versions anyway (they never say they are, but nearly all the R2 ones I get latley are not UK, but Region 2/5 )
Return of the King is the very nice R3 edition which I own in my Wooden Box Set, its basically the R1 set same packaging and all that hard back cover etc.. georgous thing too for this price! Player Genarated subs and no subs on the commentary mind you
where it tells you who speaks!
I only bought Shrek 2 a week ago
for 9 quid for the sound chip version which talks.

Regarding Shrek:
I've just seen the back of box set and the extras listed at CD WOW are correct. That's all it has.
That's a pity. I was hoping it was the two single disc versions bundled together but it's not. For the price I'll still keep it.
Can I have some examples please? Are they any good?
I don't care where they came from as long as they're good quality. To be fair they don't say they aren't either. They say:
* R2 Europe
* Russian DD5.1
* East European subs
That's a give away to me. The Shrek Collection has the U certificate and only mentions English subs.
I would get it but I don't need it, have but more than enough DVDs over the last few days, it sounds like it would be hard to sell and my other LOTRs DVDs are the UK ones so I wouldn't want it to be out of place.

It's wooden??? I thought it was just a hard cardboard.romerojpg wrote:Return of the King is the very nice R3 edition which I own in my Wooden Box Set, its basically the R1 set same packaging and all that hard back cover etc.. georgous thing too for this price! Last few Russian dvds I got were
I got Troy it was perfect identical to the UK
also got Taking Lives (the Angilina Jolie film) and it was again identical, but it did Freeze a few times as they encoded it wrong I guess
I will bet Shrek is the Uk dvds
and My Wooden Box for LOTR isnt what anyone else will get its the Taiwan Limited Edition box I have, but the dvds inside are the standard R3 dvds
This one

Can you still get £2 off at cdwow? If so, how? None of the links seemed to work for me last time I tried... just the voucher code one that is emailed to you. So I could only get £1 off...
Shrek 1 & 2 for £4.99, can't really complain...
But if I could get this ROTK:EE for £3.99, that would be tops!!!

Hey russian dvds are identical to the UK dvds, cover and contect, just one slight difference is no UK BBFC rating on the box
and sometimes says R2/5
apart from that they are identical.
and The Lord of The Rings DVD set in the Wooden box was no cheap, for all 3 films in the Limited Taiwan box with some nice playing cards in a cloth bag too, it was I think 70 quid, then customs got me for another 30 quid
so it cost a lot, more than any other I own.
Hey its georgous and a quality set mind you and they were going for 380 quid on Ebay!!! so if I ever need cash I can always sell it, but I dont expect to sell it, the films are all 5 stars and they deserve a set like the Taiwan Wooden Box as not many films are worth spending that much on ever!
and linking pics like that is easier than you think
go here
http://www.imageshack.us/
join up (takes 5 seconds its the easiest thing ever!) the upload pics and then you greeted with options to display them, I choose Thumnail on Forums
for the aobove effect, I dont know much about HTML coding so it does the work for you. :mrgreen:

Have you tried all the £1 links? There are 3 in the e-tailors thread. I've just tested each of them and they all work.degeneration wrote:Can you still get £2 off at cdwow? If so, how? You've also tried closing ALL browser windows down and trying again?
I order some DVDs last night and got £2 off each. Remember it's £3 for Games!
What certificate do they show? I'm interested.romerojpg wrote:Hey russian dvds are identical to the UK dvds, cover and contect, just one slight difference is no UK BBFC rating on the boxand sometimes says R2/5

I own R2 4 dvd extended version as well for now (selling 1 and 2 at mo on ebay, sold part 3 while back) I also owned all the 2 dvd versions too and sold them on ebay as well (for more than I paid).
So in the end I will only own the Taiwan Woode set
and them Russian dvds have no ratings anywhere on the dvd or box at all.
