Paris Hilton let out after only 3 of her 45 day sentence

Post by bradavon »

If it wasn't bad enough they reduced the 45 days to 23 days but now she's been put on house arrest, effectively letting her get off scot free:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/6731143.stm

I hear she was suffering from claustrophobia and even if that's bull millions of inmates suffer from medical conditions but tough they can be treated in jail. She broke the law, not once, not twice but several times, was given her due sentence and now gets off with house arrest. She lives in a bloody mansion, some ordeal.

The only minor upside being the sentence as back at the full 45 days but whoopy doo, she's allowed out and can live at home. What sort of punishment is that?

A clear case of corruption, power and money at work!

40 days of house arrest in a FUCKING HUGE MANSION! Wow... that will teach her(!)
I'm sure she'll be having some houseparties to drown her sorrows.

I really REALLY hope she'll break parole, but TBH I have so little trust in the american justice system, that I'm sure she'd get away with it anyway.

Someone should take matters in his/her own hands and kill the bitch: justice.

Yeah drunk driving. Too bad she didnt slam into a tree and die. Or better yet, slam into Britney's car, killing them both.

That's nasty. I know she's an airhead, but that doesn't warrant death. She should have served her full sentence though. But look at it this way, unlike O.J, at least she got convicted.

If there's any justice O.J will be run over by a combine harvester.

Don't ask me how that would happen...

Why is it OK to wish death on OJ but not Paris Hilton? It was out of order for Yi to say that BTW...
I do agree that the 3 day sentence is a joke. She has been tagged though, so its not as if she can go where she likes (?)

@grim,
tags allow you to generally go where you want, but you have a curfew, :) at least that's how it works here, but I don't see that it will be so different there. someone correct me if I'm wrong.
and ignore Eva, he just needs to take his head out of his ass and stop being a nasty, arrogant little boy it's best just to pay him no attention.

No... it's NOT harsh to wish death upon a selfish idiot who drinks and drives and thus endangers other people.
She KNOWS that's illegal, yet it means shit to her. She only cares about herself and her poodles.
I do wish death upon her, and I wish death upon many MANY people, if they are bad, evil, selfish, cruel, or whatever. I dont gie a crap if that's 'harsh' or not.

This bitch got her skanky drunken ass in a car, risking other people's lifes. So yeah, I wish she had slammed herself into a big huge brick wall without hurting anyone else. It seems like that would be the only way to teach her. This 3 day jailsentence wont teach her anything, apart that for rich sluts the normal laws and punishments dont seem to apply.

Seriously, I'd stab her with a blunt object if I'd meet her, apart from the fact that she's probably already used and thus immune to being stabbed by blunt objects.

Anyway, latest news is that Paris might have to go back to jail. The judge who sentenced her is demanding her back in court today, cause the sheriff shouldnt have released her.

Doesnt matter. She takes that risk of killing someone else, while she's more then rich enough to just take a cab home or a helicopter or whatever.
If you wanna keep people from doing that kinda stuff, you need laws and punishments for those that dont obey those laws. But as far as I'm concerned, selfish fuckers like that we can do without.

Yup like DEATH! that would stop the idiot drunk drivers for life. I would love one of their family members to be killed by a drunk driver, serves them right, scum.

That's cold.
What have their family done? Punish the drunk driver sure, but don't punish, or worse kill their family as well!

Its the only way you can teatch these drunken murderers a lesson, let the shit they dish out happen to their loved ones and see how they feel then.

Thats why I dont drink and drive, speed or drive like a twat. I only act like one on the net, big difference.

Same here. I dont speed and never drink any alcohol anyway, nor do I do any drugs (enter Eva with a witty remark about the Dutch and dope) or whatever.

When you're in a car, you are not just responsible for your own safety, but also for other's. When you decide to drink and drive, you deserve to get what's coming to ya... (which should be more then what Paris got)

Personally I am scared to death of even thinking of hitting someone and ruining their lives and famlies, never mind my own. Knowing you have had too much to drink, then getting in a car is sooo out this world I just cannot imagine how people can live with them self doing it once, never mind regulary.

Just imagine if they hit a Bus full of children and they all died! all becuase you drank too much and drove a bit, its not worth the risk at all.

There maybe justice after all, the original judge who sentenced her is not amused by the jail letting her out and has ordered her back to court:

gasteropod wrote:What did she do, was it drunk driving or something?
Yes and then several times ignored her ban by driving anyway. To clarify though she was only stopped once for drink driving (I think).

To clarify she was sent to jail for ignoring her ban NOT for drink driving. So I guess it also includes the drink driving but at first she was left off from jail. Which is fair enough I guess, she was banned after all. As happens here too.

A friend of mine in the States (California) was banned from driving due to drink driving and he has to attend a 2 hour class every week for a year. He also has to pay for the course, it was in the hundreds.

So to just be banned was getting off lightly in the first place.

Woo hoo there is justice after all:

"Celebrity heiress Paris Hilton has been taken screaming from a Los Angeles court after being told to return to jail to serve out her sentence. The celebrity heiress was ordered to attend the hearing rather than listen to the proceeding by telephone."
