Henry leaving Arsenal (?)

Post by grim_tales »

Looks like Henry is quite tempted by Milan...

It'll be sad if he goes and a sad day for the Premiership, great player.

He hasnt actually said "I'm going" though, I mean everyone thought he'd go to Barca last year but he didnt. He stayed.

He might be off to Liverpool; some bookies have stopped taking bets on that as a potential move, and others have dropped the odds to 2/1 or 3/1.
The Reds are also looking for Eto'o. Which, if they managed to get those two up front, just boggles the mind :D

If he goes to Liverpool, good luck to him, he also said "It's nice to hear about Milan" as well.

he's had his best days and had lost his motivation at arsenal...better you spend the money you've got for him on a young, hungry striker. that dutch lad,Babel currently playing in the u-21 tournament looks ace....

I don't know, he was injured for much of last season!
He's been an amazing player but he had signed a new contract and then backed out after a year :?

He's not good enough yet.
Babel is ace when he has space and can use his pace :) but his vision, insight, and 1st touch just arent very good yet. The U21 coach, Foppe, is just plain awesome man. He takes these kids, some had a mediocre/bad season, and within a few weeks he ses where their potentials are, and gives them confidence, and makes a team out of them. Foppe looks like a gramps, but he's cool as hell. Very normal, very honest, very smart without it being obvious. So good with people.

So Babel is looking good cause Foppe has given him space and freedom behind Righters, who is also doing great, and is using Babel to his full potential.

But although Babel has the physical qualities to maybe follow-up Henry, he's not technically gifted and smart enough yet.

It's a shame Aissati got hurt in the 1st match and had to leave the tournament :( He's our best young talent at the moment. So smart.
As far as I'm concerned I'd already name him in the list of Cruyff and Bergkamp. So smart and so technically gifted. And still only 18 I believe.

I was there, the big BNB blackout of november, 2008. We lost many that day...

What would Wenger buy with the money? He can't even afford Bent with £16m, Barca must be laughing.
Thierry - thanks for the memories :)
