Oh Christ, Las Vegas is one show that is beyond utterly terrible. Mint as chicks in it though, watch the Van Damme episode from Season 1 and then bin it.

Even if I don't like it (I saw most of S1 IIRC) it's very cheap so I haven't spent lots on it.

Yeah but we can all agree a ladyboy is not a good thing to hire knowingly. YMMV obviously with any series.

Of course I'd rather see them with subs than without... but many of these will probably never be released with subs... so, either you watch them without subs or you don't watch them at all. You just have to pic the right movies. Norifumi Suzuki is generally a safe pic because his movies are extremely visual.

Besides, many movies aren't that hard to follow. Watching 10 Truck Yaro films without subs I could understand almost all the drama plots. Knowing a few basic words (love, hate, kill, marry, sister, brother, man, woman etc.) can get you really far because the visuals, music and also acting usually reveal you what's going on. Most of the actual dialogue is nonsense. It may be a bit boring while watching long dialogue scenes but usually when the scene is over you have a pretty good idea what just happened / was explained.

Of course if pic the wrong movie it can be pure misery. But karate films, pinky violence movies, action comedies etc. are usually pretty easy without subs. It takes some time to get used to it though, and it also helps if you're a fan of the leading actor for example. And always pic visuals driven (also storytelling wise) movies.

There's loads of classic anime that I'd like to see. But I'd be hard pressed to apply your method successfully with a 40+ episode plot-intensive series, LOL

they are indeed- for just over a fiver each i'll live with the dub-besides i've only ever seen 3 of these titles on shitty fullscreen cut vhs dubs,so this is an improvement.
