Unlike Polanski he actually did time and the conviction was for molestation as opposed to rape so I wouldn't say that was a worse case. However, the fact that he taped the incident tips the scales. It was obviously something planned and not a spur of the moment mistake. Creepy fucker. His career went dead for about 7 years before his comeback with Disney's Powder. There's been no mention of it since so I guess he's reformed. Is still working infrequently.
I don't think Disney knew when they hired him - it was the victim's protests that brought it back into the public eye. Surprised he got the Jeepers Creepers gig from MGM - maybe it was to keep him quiet?

Rush Hour 3 - 3.5/5
What's up with all the critics and you guys? The film was so funny! The whole audience was laughing out the whole film through!
There were so many references to old Jackie Chan movies, I stopped counting them at one point.
Movies that Ratner gave tribute to in this film:
Police Story 2 (a lot really)
Project A
Armour of God 2
Hard Boiled
Oh agreed the audience I went to also laughed lots but then they were also throwing popcorn and drinking some blue & pink mush at the same time. They don't count IMO
I definitely missed all the humour, did we see the same movie? Maybe dubbed into German it maybe watchable?
