I've read many many times that PS3 has a rubbish online network, you get what you pay for really.

I dont know. I'm sure that in time they'll improve.

Like I said before, both systems have their good and bad points. Xbox Live is good, but expensive. Sony's online is free, but according to you and probably many others, rubbish. But I doubt they'll keep it rubbish.

I'd like to be more active online in MP games, when I get a 360 and/or PS3, but it all depends on the connection etc.
I do like that PS3 has a wireless wifi connection inside the machine already (I think), so you wont have to pay extra.

PS3 offers so much more straight out of the box, whereas for the 360 it seems they want you to pay top dollar for everything extra.

I'm starting to lean more towards PS3 lately, as it seems to offer more than the 360. Only problem STILL is the lack of really good games for it.

I'd get Oblivion and Ninja Gaiden Sigma for it, and waiting how Half-Life 2 and Pro Evo will turn out. I'd also like to see PS3 games go down in pricing a bit, plus I dislike the six-axis control for some games, cause I just wanna play normally, without having to wiggle my pad like a parkinson patient.

Bought 2 Bioshock CE's in the store. I really should have bought a few in Amsterdam last saturday as they're becoming hot property already. Many stores and etailers dont have them in stock anymore, so it's nice to see it's actually pretty limited. I think I bought the last 2 ones in the local store, but there is another store which might have 1 or 2 left tomorrow, so might pick up a few more.

I'll keep them sealed for a couple of years, and then make a nice little profit from it. I hope. Ofcourse, this could also hit me straight back in the face if they decide to release more CE's.

But as far as I know people are paying lots of money for old SNES and Megadrive classic cartridges... and if I keep these ones sealed, it should be OK. Justa long-term investment which might provide me a nice little extra in 10-15 years orso...

Yeah... it's a bit of a dillema. Xbox has the best games, the best joypad, the best live-service, etc... BUT it's a piece of shit hardware which too often breaks down, and I feel it's still too expensive.

PS3 is also still expensive (in the UK you get a better deal, and in the USA and Japan.. man... dont even get me started...)
Here in Holland though, it's still 600 euros for the system plus 2 games (which I'm not interested in, and 2 joypads). So I'll wait for a better cheaper package.

It's getting increasingly hard to resist buyinga 360, but I can wait 2-3 maybe 4 more months. I'm lucky I dont have a HD screen yet and those are going down in price as well the coming 4-5 months, so I'll definately wait for that.
I think I'll wait till I can pick up 1 console AND some games, AND a big screen HD tv for 1500 euros total. Right about now, we're already pretty close to that

Ah well... I'm a patient and very tight-assed guy... so I can wait I can wait I can wait (it's my slogan) :D

BA sales are crap, so went with Emirates.

We will stay at my parents apartment which is in Aj-man. Should be nice and relaxing.
