What's the difference between the two discs? The one I pointed to is released in two days and is cheaper as well.

Grim's is 2 discs: 1 disc has the yankee version and the other the japanese version. Yours is just the 1-disc japanese version, and a LE at that.

It's good to have both cuts of these HK actioners. Back in the day HK action filmmakers made no concept of good pacing. Some of these shorter cuts are actually improvements.

Some time ago I remember thinking the HK version was actually too slow, at least the US cut cuts to the chase with all the fights n' stunts.

I watched the HK version when it first came out (HK neighbours and all). Never cared for this movie, although some of the action is very good, especially the stuff in Holland, with Jackie on wooden shoes almost getting run over by a truck, and the rooftop-fight. But before that, for me, it was mainly a borefest with 1-dimensional saturdaymorning cartoon villains. And the cast is just horrible, acting-wise.

Its brilliant, I have the remastered criterion collection (3 disk, I sold my old 1st disk, and brought the remastered disk as a replacement). Not sure about your version, but the criterion version is the director cuts. Quite cool movie, bit strange and funky, but there something about it, which makes it enjoyable. The tv workprint/station movie is interesting, with a good commentary.
