Scotland still going well... but will they qualify?

Ok, I'm doing my best not to get carried away, but scotland got a non-fluke result against Ukraine just there. Both 1-0 wins against France I kind of assigned to being flukes... but a 3-1 win against Ukraine was a "proper" result. It can't be attributed to simply resolute defending and a fluke goal...

So now I'm in a dilema, are scotland actually getting good?

And the worst part. Despite the amazing progress the national team have made in this campaign, all the good work and incredible results they've achieved could still result to nothing if we don't take points from the Italy match. Italy... the WORLD champions. Assuming other results go as expected, Scotland HAVE to at least draw with the supposed BEST TEAM IN THE WORLD to qualify...

So my simple questions is: Do you think Scotland will qualify?

From a British perspetive, I'm sure Scotland will qualify

I'd imagine most Scotts wouldn't be voting for the English though

WOw... Scottland are in a much harder group than we, the Dutch, are...
Italy and France.

I wish we were in that group, cause then we might actually lose a few games and get Van Basten fired. Cause Holland has been playing HORRIBLE, AWFULL football for the last 3 years orso, but somehow the team still manages to pretty much always get the points.

I think Scotland have a FAIR chance so I've voted 'Yes' rather than be negative.

We're in a position now where we don't have to rely on other results. Only WE can fuck it up.

I really hope we don't because we've done well to get to where we are in terms of both football quality and league position.

If Scotland don't win in Georgia they can only blame themselves.

Italy is a tougher prospect but a draw isn't out of the question.

Yeah, the horrible thing now is that we are expected to beat Georgia, and most often it is when we are expected to win that we mess up!

Even now I still find it a hard prospect to believe that we could take something from the Italy game, but if we can keep the standard we've achieved going then it is possible.

The downside is, if we beat Georgia, Italy will HAVE to beat us to be sure of qualifying, so they'll be playing for their lives. But I'll still take that scenario I think!

Things will be made so much less nerve wrecknig it Italy or France would just drop some points soon! If Lithuania somehow get a draw against france, that will be beyond awesome for us!!
