...and while I'm ranting..........
Why in the age of Blu-Ray and HD are we still being charged £20 for fucking DVDs in the likes of HMV. (That's what the DH4.0 2-disc costs there).
They should be a helluva lot cheaper.
I should be able to walk into any store hand over a tenner and get DH4-DVD back -- with change.

Sometimes Mark your logic makes no sense at all.Markgway wrote:I should be able to walk into any store hand over a tenner and get DH4-DVD back -- with change.
Die Hard 4.0 (after discount) being a new release is still good value at CD WOW. Oddly I cannot see a cheaper R3.
Does it matter? Supermarkets and online don't charge that.Markgway wrote:Why in the age of Blu-Ray and HD are we still being charged £20 for fucking DVDs in the likes of HMV. (That's what the DH4.0 2-disc costs there).

In what respect?bradavon wrote:Sometimes Mark your logic makes no sense at all.
My quotes made sense to me.
But it's more expensive than it was last week or whenever.Die Hard 4.0 (after discount) being a new release is still good value at CD WOW.
I hate when they put prices up for no good reason.
It's the theatrical cut... so who cares??Oddly I cannot see a cheaper R3.
Do you have to fucking argue with everything I say?Does it matter? Supermarkets and online don't charge that.
I made two points: one that in-store prices are ridiculous (and a lot of people either can't use the internet to order or like to buy in-store); and two: that I now can't get the DVD as cheap as I could when Sam bought it.
What's the beef??

The sentence makes sense but not your logicIn what respect? My quotes made sense to me.
So do I but it's still a good price (maybe the best price?), and as such if I wanted it I'd "move on" and still buy it.But it's more expensive than it was last week or whenever. I hate when they put prices up for no good reason.
I didn't know, cheers. It's the theatrical cut... so who cares??
Agreed on the first point. If people like to live in the past and "only" ever look in shops, that's really their problem. They should stop being so lazy and overly worried about shopping online. I don't hold any sympathy for someone paying way over the odds because they're too lazy to look elsewhere.one that in-store prices are ridiculous (and a lot of people either can't use the internet to order or like to buy in-store)
Come on you do it just as much as IDo you have to fucking argue with everything I say?

Brad, you are aware that chart DVDs are cheaper on-line than in-store? Just checking...bradavon wrote:The sentence makes sense but not your logic. One minute you get all flustered about paying £10 for a new release DVD then say you'd pay £10 for the same DVD, if it were in a shop!
Move on to what? It's not like I have a queue of DVDs I'm desperate to get instead. I can wait for DH4 to get cheaper. I just like to moan about the fact I missed the best price. So do I but it's still a good price (maybe the best price?), and as such if I wanted it I'd "move on" and still buy it.
What about people who don't have the internet or credit cards?Agreed on the first point. If people like to live in the past and "only" ever look in shops, that's really their problem. It's selfish to assume poeple are lazy because they don't know all the voucher codes to CD Wow.
I argue when you're talking bollocks (which is fairly often) like now.Come on you do it just as much as I(at me too). I'm not arguing anyway. I'm just pointing out your strange logic
