I'm happy with my DVDs at the moment but Shrek 2 is one of those where it's US BD for me because of the voices.

Until now I was happy with my current BD - wonder if it will have all the DVD extras plus the previous transfer at least?

Might pick up the Alien set, why 6 discs though?
I cant see all the extras from the 9 disc mammoth set making it on there.

I'd get ALIENS if it's a stand alone.

Hope so, maybe as well as some new stuff, in which case I'd upgrade.

Better include the originals unless they want vitriol poured upon them.

Ah OK :) Maybe that could be included as deleted scenes?
Mark,
I agree but since the TC's are letterbox on DVD that would mean work for the makers remastering them and they wouldnt fancy doing that :icon_suspect:

That concerns me too. Hopefully it just means "Remastered".
Markgway wrote:Better include the originals unless they want vitriol poured upon them.
I'd settle for just a box set with "just" the first three films or better yet separate releases because I certainly don't want Phantom Menace or Attack of the Clones (good enough film but no keeper). I'm happy with the 2004 cuts.

I'm sure we can guarantee it will be the Remastered 2004 cuts or maybe new cuts again! I doubt they'll ever remaster the original theatrical cuts now.
