So was it written before or after the Crisis of Infinite Earths? And is it counted as post-Crisis continuity?
How would I know? I follow Miller - not DC :D

Anyways... The WikiPedia claims;

Crisis was used by DC as an opportunity to wipe much of its slate clean and make major changes to many of their major revenue-generating comic book series. Frank Miller's revamp of Batman with Batman: Year One, George Perez's relaunching of Wonder Woman, and John Byrne's reboot of Superman (see The Man of Steel) all took place shortly following Crisis on Infinite Earths, and changed substantial elements of the characters' backstories.

So according to that (and since Crisis took place in 1985 and Year-One in 1986) I'd say Frank Millers "vision" is official.

But as for nitpicking over hair length and colour... we are talking about FEMALE COMIC BOOK characters. Much like their real life counterparts they are sure to change with time :D
So long, and thanks for all the fish!

I don't see what's wrong with using the "it was brought back with J. Jonah Jameson's space rocket" idea from the other media forms.

Fuck, Bryce Dallas Howard is one ugly motherfucker. Was Raimi snorting Coke when he made this "inspired casting choice"?

Looks like I may've jumped the gun a bit. She looks almost attractive in these on-set photos.

OKOK! Not a lot to get excited about tbh. It's a great sum-up from the first two parts with wonderful music (where is the music from?). The only things we really see from part 3 are some of the Spidey in air scenes. Looks really good and I'm looking forward to it.

The guy's server crashed. Go here instead:

Oh and now I get it. It's not a dinosaur. It's supposed to be lizard. So if the dino head wasn't cut out from "Jurassic Park" I was right actually about lizard appearing in the third part, too.

Lizard, Venom, Goblin... hmmm... they should save a few villains for the future films.

Yes, as is Venom/Eddie Brock.

Dr. Connors (PP's university professor) was introduced in Spidey 2, Connors became the Lizard in the comics.

LOL, just watched part 1 and 2 on DVD again and I noticed all the footage we are given in this fan-teaser. There is no new footage at all in it. The dinosaur that is supposed to be the lizard is probably taken from "Jurassic Park".

OK, this is probably what Eva meant and not the shitty (apart from the music) fan teaser I posted.

That reminds me, there should be a tie-in DVD release sometime in the coming months featuring the uncut DC of Spidey 2.

Is that it? You mean the one that was cut for the UK release? Bah, I've already got the R1 release for that very reason.

When you said "director's cut", I thought you meant there was actually going to be an extended version coming out! Damn you!

I still don't know if my player can play RCE since there is no way to manually select the region, so I had to buy the R2 version :(
