Diesel plans two more Riddick sequels

I knew that Riddick was a proposed trilogy but I thought that the series would be doomed thanks to the poor box office? Must've been a tremendous success on DVD then.

I enjoyed Pitch Black and the Riddick game "Escape From Butcher Bay" was fucking awesome. I haven't seen TCoR due to the terrible reviews, prolly will see it eventually though.

Is Riddick 3 still coming?

Riddick 2 was on TV the other night. It looked rubbish, is it? Pitch Black was good.

Surprisingly, it ain't.

David Trohy discussed on his blog late last a year about possibly making a low budget sequel (like Pitch Black was), because obviously Universal ain't gonna give him and Vin a virtually unlimited budget again.

Riddick has become a good seller on DVD so Universal may be willing to fund a modest budgeted film of 30 million or so.

Vin Diesel has just started filming Fast & The Furious 4 wth Paul Walker.hopefully he'll return as Riddick soon.

Riddick aint comin from what the director said and the star and the poor box office.

But as Eva says, if they made it cheap I see cash in it for them

not stupid big blockbuster sized.

Paul Walker is excellent in Running Scared,a very good movie. i was going to get the german hd-dvd but will now keep the dvd until a blu-ray appears. He was ok in Joyride as well,another decent movie.

I've not seen those but I've always found him to be so annoying I cannot ignore it.

I definitely wouldn't pay French or German HD-DVD prices now, no way, like you say they cost way too much. I will likely make an exception with T2 though, that is unless a decent BD comes by May/June.
