Issac Hayes quits "South Park"
I've never heard Issac mention this (that he was a Scientoligist).. he will not be providing the voice of Chef anymore as he disapproved of the show making fun of Scientology, or something.
I have to say though that Matt Stone does make a good point with his comments.

NEW YORK - Isaac Hayes has quit "South Park," where he voices Chef, saying he can no longer stomach its take on religion.
Hayes, who has played the ladies' man/school cook in the animated Comedy Central satire since 1997, said in a statement Monday that he feels a line has been crossed.
"There is a place in this world for satire, but there is a time when satire ends and intolerance and bigotry towards religious beliefs of others begins," the 63-year-old soul singer and outspoken Scientologist said.
"Religious beliefs are sacred to people, and at all times should be respected and honored," he continued. "As a civil rights activist of the past 40 years, I cannot support a show that disrespects those beliefs and practices."
"South Park" co-creator Matt Stone responded sharply in an interview with The Associated Press Monday, saying, "This is 100 percent having to do with his faith of Scientology... He has no problem — and he's cashed plenty of checks — with our show making fun of Christians."
Last November, "South Park" targeted the Church of Scientology and its celebrity followers, including actors Tom Cruise and John Travolta, in a top-rated episode called "Trapped in the Closet." In the episode, Stan, one of the show's four mischievous fourth graders, is hailed as a reluctant savior by Scientology leaders, while a cartoon Cruise locks himself in a closet and won't come out.
Stone told The AP he and co-creator Trey Parker "never heard a peep out of Isaac in any way until we did Scientology. He wants a different standard for religions other than his own, and to me, that is where intolerance and bigotry begin."

Hey! Who says we arent?EvaUnit02 wrote:What a fucking loser, you'd think that after 14 years he'd be secure with beliefs.
Scientology is wackier than most "religions", they believe that humans were once energy beings who were slaves to a galactic overlord or something like that.
I was there, the big BNB blackout of november, 2008. We lost many that day...

thats a great samurai champloo avatar you have there Yi-Long! plus Ive finally found Alkmaar in my FM2005 game, they are listed as just 'AZ'.
anyway, Isaac Hayes is probably under great pressure from his fellow scientologists to quit the show. Im guessing he was forced into a situation where he literally had to choose and he knew that unlike his fellow scientologists matt and trey would only make his life a living hell for a few weeks...
And for the record, whilst I have no problem with individual scientologists, scientology as a whole is one of the few things in the world I vehemently hate. If I could figure out anyway of achieving it then I would happily dedicate the rest of my life to destroying them.

Yeah, but since it costs 400 000 € to reach the "ultimate scientologic level of enlightenment", I think I can live with those thetan thingies.
I used to be "the man who loves the movies you hate".
Now I'm just "that weird french guy with a cat avatar who comes to BnB once a year for no reason and then disappears again".
