Specs revealed. Extras are a port-over of the old Artisan R1, I hope that the transfer is new and remastered though - the Artisan transfer reportedly was mediocre.
Paramount Home Entertainment will release It's A Wonderful Life: 60th Anniversary Edition on October 31st. Frank Capra's holiday classic, starring the incomparable Jimmy Stewart, arrives with a fullscreen transfer and Dolby Digital Mono tracks. Extras will include "The Making of It's A Wonderful Life" documentary hosted by Tom Bosley, "A Personal Remembrance" tribute to Frank Capra narrated by his son Frank Capra Jr. and the original trailer. Retail is $19.99.

Seems the transfer is just the same as the OOP Republic/Artisan (?) edition. Pff. One would of thought the "60th Anniversary Edition" label would mean a new transfer and maybe a retrospective at least.
R2 for me then....

Actually, the old Republic transfer was apparently quite good, much better than the R2 edition.
According to a review on Amazon.com the DVD has both the original AND colourisd versions.

I'll wait for reviews I think.
