.NET Framework v3.0 needs v2.0 installed

The new .NET Framework v3.0 requires v2.0 to be installed (since it's really just an extension of v2.0, rather than a complete rewrite like v2.0 was over v1.1.). So don't uninstall v2.0 before installing v3.0, otherwise the installer will just download v2.0 again.

Cheers, that's worth knowing.

I wouldn't anyway though as if it's anything like 1.1 and 2.0 you need both independently. I still find most apps use 1.1, some use 2.0 but none I've seen use 3.0.
