We need a Dead Tree Technology Forum

We need a Dead Tree Technology Forum. A place to discuss printed media, like fiction books and magazines. The rare thread in off-topic ain't good enough as things get easily buried there and frankly the search sucks. We have forums for music, TV and Pooters, why not books too?

And why do you think those threads are so rare ?

A book subforum would be wildly unpopular IMO.

Maybe an "official printed media thread" would be better ?
What do other people think ?

With the huge variety of books and the tiny amount of frequently posting members, I doubt that there will be many books we have all read and could be discussing.

i think its a good idea. i mean you could have a "what have you just read" topic, similar to the movies one. this way if people have read the same book then they can discuss it, and also take recommendation's for books to read.

Agreed a subforum is OTT, this is ultimately mostly a place to discuss DVDs. There wouldn't be enough interest for an entire sub-forum.

Stick it in 1/2/3 threads instead.
