Hi all,

I find it ok that the Admin has to see over accounts so that spammers are kept at bay however I never received a "your account is now active email"

maybe it could help?

I guess we'll have to do it manually from now on.

Shouldn't be a problem. We're getting about 2 or 3 new legit users per month.

the dodgy sign up is increasing annoyingly. I am looking at a new type what you see security thingy which looks promising. I will also attempt to sort out the email thingy.

As it happens, an inactive account is still shown in the members list. I've only just spotted that.

I've deleted the account but they couldn't post anyway. I noticed another member from a few weeks ago who was inactive but was also in the members list. They were spam too.

I don't look at new user registrations much any more. Tom deals with them.
