HD Section

I think we should have an HD section on this forum, as the various HD threads are a bit scattered, really.

Any opinions?

I think it's a good idea if it's just a General HD thread for both Asian and General. Personally I'm not keen to have two new subforums.

I am happy to create one them move in threads I find. Any I miss you guys can post here. "High-Def. Discussion" would be a good name.

I suppose we could have a new subforum dedicated to High-Def.
Don't see why we'd need to separate Blu-Ray from DVD, but hey... whatever makes you guys happy.

Do you mean Blu-Ray from HD-DVD? HD-DVD discussion will continue for sometime yet.

I am tending to pay much more attention to HD than DVD news nowadays.

No worries.

Another reason for a HD thread is so those who have no interest in HD can now completely ignore all talk of it.

If the thread is more about DVDs post in one of the two DVD threads, if it's more about HD post in the HD thread. If it's equal I'd be inclined to post it in DVD as that is still the most popular medium.
