It seems apparent that many of the most regular members of these forums either work for or run their own dvd review sites in one form or another (please correct me if I'm wrong!). Its also becoming pretty clear that whilst I have 5 discs coming for people to review sometime soon its unlikely at least in the short term that we would get a good flow going.
This thread got me thinking that perhaps we should go another direction, and act as a place where lots of different peoples reviews are put up, only with their full permission, with clear linkage on the reviews to the reviewers site. Contributors that proved consistent and reliable could be given access so that they could put up the reviews themselves. We could still have our own reviews as well, and user reviews (which I guess i'll start the ball rolling with at the weekend
), this just seems like a good way to benefit all the regulars here whilst giving BnB in itself a chance to grow again...holding in mind I'm pretty much typing this as it comes to me please feel free to shoot down/ improve upon/ comment!
