I asked the people over at DVD Talk about this - I wasn't thinking of buying this set yet (maybe if its' cheap?). Only 3 of the cartoons on the R1 are edited, but thats 3 too many, IMO. 3 "blackface gags" are removed, and there "may" be a violence cut to the excellent "Little Orphan" cartoon (1944), as well as cut(s?) to The Milky Waif and The Truce Hurts cartoons
Although the R1 has some censoring, it is considerably less than the R2 release which has different shorts, was released earlier, has more edits and is un-remastered I hear
Also I heard that Warners offer of replacing cut disks with uncut ones only applied to US customers (thats what someone on DVD Talk said).
Bah
