html, ASP and probably java(script?) programming help

Post by degeneration »

I know that this is very much possible to do, cause I've seen sites that do it, but I just don't know how... yet.

I've got to SELECT option lists which at the moment contain all the possible values in each.

However, I want the chosen option in the first list, to limit the second list to only displaying the apporpriate options.

I've got a database file that has the necessary links, and I think I should be able to make all the required database queries myself, but it is just the code to get the 2nd list to update based on the choice in the first list, but without the page reloading or anything like that.

Any tips or guidance here would be appreciated.

Thanks.
