Happy (belated:P) Easter to all you above the equator. Yesterday I got a plain hollow egg and a slab of Cadbury's.

I've not got anything so far and that's fine with me. I stopped asking for easter eggs years ago. Why? Because they'd sit in my cupboard for months until A: I'd finally eat them or B: My younger brother would nab them.

My Mum now gives me just an easter card BUT it's one of those cool B&W film cards. Which I keep.

My Nan is over so she may give me one. One is more than enough for me.

Happy easter all...

For me, the joy of easter doesnt begin untill tuesday, when all the easter chocolate goes on sale :)
I had a huge bag of chocolate eggs last year after easter :)

Although I am really gonna enjoy my day off tomorrow :D. Watching DVDs and playing Xbox all day long I hope...

Smarties eggs are also very nice, one of the best sweets ever IMO (normal smarties).

Not a Cadbury's fan myself... I find their chocolate dry (if that makes any sense??)

I prefer Mars (ie. Galaxy, etc).

I also dislike Cadbury. Had it a few times. It's pretty expensive and rare here. My favourite chocolate is the house-brand from a local supermarket. which is a very good thing, since it's only about 70 cents for 200 grams. I also really like nougat/hunny chocolate though...

I like most chocolate but find it to sickly so only want a small amount. Hence I don't want an Easter egg. As it turns out I got one from my Mum. It's quite a fancy one to!

I've not bought people Easter eggs for years. I don't believe in the reason behind it or rather I'm not a believer. If that makes sense? and don't feel the need to buy some chocolate. It just seems dumb to me in the snack infested world we live in.

I like Mars too. Have you had the new Mars Delight bars? Very nice :)

I don't like those Lindt Excellence things (the round ball shaped ones). The stuff inside is too sickly :? "Normal" Lindt bars are very nice though :)

I think so. Obviously didn't make too much of an impression. :P

I find Chocolate enjoyable, but too sickly sometimes. I wish they could make it a little less sweet.

Depends what brands you buy I suppose.. :) I don't want to have to pay through the nose for Green & Blacks/Lindt chocolate though. :(

BTW, Like many so called "Christian" festivals, Easter is actually Pagan in origin, then it was called "Eastre" ;) and it celebrated just the start of spring. :)

Isn't Paganism (is that a word?) and Christianity very much linked?

Like say Judaism, Christianity and Muslimism are.

Who knows it's all such a long time ago, well before the written word existed that no one really knows. It's all down to who and what you read.

Cool. :)
"Caramel Marshmallow" eggs? :? I've never had them before, you can get normal Cadbury's Caramel eggs here (Caramel is a Dairy Milk variant for some reason).

Even though I'm not Cadbury fan, a Creme Egg once in a while can offer sticky satisfaction (oo-er missus!)

:D

I heard NZ/Ozzy Cadburys tastes different (nicer and more expensive) from UK Cadburys because the Oz version uses full cream in it or something (instead of powder stuff) :?
