Massive Attack rocks IMO. Their third album Mezzanine is absolutely fantastic.
Just got their last album, 100th Window - quite good IMO, the Sinead O'Connor vocalised tracks are fantastic. The record pretty is old and clinical though - All the dub/blues/etc elements are gone. I wish Mushroom hadn't left. Also why the hell didn't Daddy G participate on the record?
I've yet to hear their 1st/2nd albums, but the singles I have heard are v. good IMO. Especially the ones with the chick from "Everything but the Girl".
The only one I recall musically is the one where the woman walks down the street in the video. Unfinished Symphony? Quite moody, dramatic sounding. Was used in Sliver I think.
Oh, and one of their videos sticks out because it has a stripper doing full frontal and it was on an X-rated special. But the DVD was passed as a '12' (!)
Also why the hell didn't Daddy G participate on the record?
